Who is this for?

With only 60 available spaces each year, this competitive programme is structured differently to the ACD training course. The ideal candidate:

  • Is committed to 11 months of a programme, with self-discipline to work at home
  • Enjoys a good challenge and is ready for hard work
  • Is looking to make money while doing good
  • Is able to make deadlines (missed deadlines may result in programme cancellation)
  • Is able to access a computer and internet

Am I eligible for this course?

A good foundation is important.

That’s why Change Drivers who have already completed the A! Change Drivers training are eligible to apply for this programme.

How long does the course run for?

This programme runs over a series of workshops, held over an 11-month period (February – December).

The programme is structured like this:

  • 1 x two-day workshop in various locations nationwide (March/April)
  • 7 x home ‘missions’
  • 1 x two-day national seminar in Johannesburg (September/October)
  • 1 x grand competition awarding a 10-day entrepreneurial trip to India (with Startup Safari) to one winner

How much does the course cost?

There’s nothing more valuable than upskilling yourself.

If your application is successful, you will be required to pay a nominal registration fee. The programme covers all workshop, seminar and accommodation costs.

However, ACTIVATE! does not cover any travel costs for the programme. Delegates are required to see themselves to and from the workshop venues. These take place in 6 selected cities across the country, determined after the application process.

Can I complete the course part-time?

Absolutely, this is a course for people in the real world.

Our programme is offered in bite-sizes, allowing delegates to complete it regardless of whether they are working or studying. Workshops are delivered during the week, giving you the space to request leave if needed.
